My name is Swiss Kane,age 79, Graduate of Vernes University with a Masters in Research and Development Management, Industrial Technology, Nuclear Engineering and a minor in History

Science has always been the world of the possible limitless where limits and boundaries can be discovered and then broken. For those who take this life they may learn much and even live fully in the sight of progress. My story came from my first application of the company Melville Industries, company seeking the development of practical technology for the consumer world.

When I was in head of all operations I dissolved and re-institutionalized the company as the Rayjak Corporation. With my close associates we had re-did the companies research and outlook for it's progress.

In the final days of the operations the team was in looks of manipulating the DNA transfusion of other types of lifeforms that were in the wastes, as so it has been known. Then came a day where one of the underground core nuclear generator had been sabotaged with a static pulse charge. The reasoning or the identity of the perpetrator was never found out, though I would still wish to find out what was the reasoning behind it of mental stability of that one person who would shatter so much of our work we have made. Making a sudden burst in the facilities power network and effecting much of the facility's delicate equipment. This had resulted in a massive overload with many of our experiments that chained over inadvertently DNA Spicing that effected both test subjects and the faculty. I was one of the Scientists who suffered from the accident as it had changed me into a Valoshan.

I was still in the world of shock and crisis of all the things that had happened in a short time. My mind at that time could have broke and spilled out at that time, cause of all that happened. Though it did not cause I was a man of science and this would not make me falter in this.

I had reaped all the research I could find from the wreckage paying no mind to where the rest of the survivors had gone. If they were to return then I would not tread on alone forever. I made camp in the woods and gathered the resources to survive and prepare for a new life on the world of the wastes. First weeks were difficult cause there was long travels and places that have long since been abandoned, but I still searched. It was weeks later that I found myself reaching the city of Rethosia. I was greeted with cautiousness and prolific demeanor. I explained a skim of my story, though I feel one of them had it in for me cause of my altered form. They had let me in and given me a place to stay.

The town at that time was disorganized and very well unprotected from outside hostiles. It was on order that I could not construct a home at the time but I could possibly do something else. It was the proven thing of all great civilizations they have a working road system. That was my first project I would do, it was a success for the town by connecting many of the busiest points of town. Also that is was very well refined clean road. My work was noticed quickly and I was pleased with the subtle reactions.

From there I saw that the city needs a form of communication to the wastes. I had asked the owner of the town's Inn to allow a construction of a Radio Tower on top of his building. He allowed it and so details were discussed and my work had begun again. Soon after it tower was complete and it was able to fulfill many uses as well as providing the town with music of Smooth Jazz. Though I had used it to make a silent radio call to find persons of the Rayjak operations.

Next I would work on a permanent establishment in the city, a saloon with it's own brewery. During construction I did have a scuffle with the owner of the Inn keeper but that was sorted out later. Construction then continued on as scheduled, with the completion of the parlor, I had read reports of a recent murder/suicide that had occurred at the building next to where I was working. This increased my resolve to complete my work.

Soon after that was when one of my close colleagues had taken in the message and came to find me. He was allowed into the city to work with me. Along side I had of course noticed a bit more persons coming into the city I talked with them when I had time to confront them.

Then "they" came...

The wastes had miraculously came together to take care of the "situation". I knew I would need to "alter" my plans for my saloon. Work with me and my assistant went on tirelessly. Materials as well were a bother to get but we had to get it done since someone would have had to.

After the full completion of my establishment I had showed Kronaak the full place by giving him a tour. He and others seemed very impressed.

My work continues everyday and that of progress, there is more work to be done and more importantly, things to learn about from the waste and the universe.

At the current time I have been working on three projects.

One of them was the Global Broadcasting Satellite Dish, it has the assertive dispossession to reach a broadcasting distance of any where on the planet, but more importantly that it can send out powerful signals out into space and receive them as well. That project is as of now completed. The satellite has gone through a green light through testing, and works perfectly.

Another of my projects that I have is the oil rig that is on the outside of the city walls but still in a throwing distance. It will help us recover much needed fossil fuels and to refine it for usage. The supports are complete, though the facility is as of yet not started.

When the construction over the new business district was under way I knew that I should reserve a spot in the district. I had talked over some development and if that I could get some land to develop. I was allowed and I gave the area a work over. After the transforming of the land I settled with my own piece and got to work on that.

A note of interest
A slew of gun runners have come into our part of the wastes, bringing in foul armaments. The dealer was so careless that he nearly shot me while demonstrating his product.

Need to make out a letter to Kronaak of some things, hope the courier is looking for work.

Another day living in the wastes, though I must say I have news of the lighter side. Another colleague of mine from the Rayjak operations has been found. Though when me and Bane had first discovered him, he was quick mad as we put it simply. Very little possessions on him though he had a ax that he kept on his person. Any chance of trying to get it from him would release his devoid maddening mind.

We had to rehabilitate him if we were able to re introduce him to society. We had expended many resources and have seem to have suffice him to the point that he can function quite well in society. We had set out from our seclusion and made our long travel back to the city of Rethosio.

Arrived on a set of confrontation of Gun handling policy but also a period of questioning our new found colleague. He was invited for a house of his choice and he had picked out one from the available lot.

Firearms was becoming a growing influence in the wastelands, we could try and balance the gains and for our groups sake. We had spent a spell of time recovering files on our database of the primitive firearms. This was some of the recovered servers from our old facility, lots of it was destroyed, but still held important information. The construction of guns was not in our files in the first place or was destroyed in the accident. Though we found we found that we had the recipes for Bullets of many caliber types for different guns, and fortunate we found that someone must have misfiled the build make on pistols. We have at least part of the code on how to make these more advanced weapons, but I might direct part in research to mass production of armaments.

There was some gathering at the gates of the town and I was down to peer in on the conversation. Gale, a old member of our town was going on a trip that I was important for him to do.

WIP

Things have been getting quite worse for the time, cause of the constant growth. It has Kronaak really running. Though there are some many with problems with others or within themselves.

Since last time I had found two more members of the Rayjak initiative, Willie Stroker and Lazarus Dark, they joined us in Rethosio. It has now gotten so big with our group that there seems no more room for all our members in the town. So we took a pause of all of our projects to make a complex that would house us all within the city walls. To accommodate our comforts is just one part but also that people may search for us with ease in case they need one of our team's specialized help.

I was although able to get time with Kronaak so that I can give him an update on current projects and of some other additional things, though we kept on getting interrupted that we had to cut it short. A bit later on Kronaak called on an emergency town meeting. Only Screech and myself could may it to the meeting. The talk was about the Empire that we called on structuring and stabilizing. I had participated in some of the discussion but had little notice since the subject was of getting a great foot hold which would not aloud riots and anarchy. Decision was made that some would make the journey over there to towns and provide support and materials to strengthen towns.

Things are getting worse and stranger...

Kornaak has now left the city to go on a journey that is to be his right sanctification. Also the second of command Theodore will be leaving the city as well to make a travel of finding his brother.

A bit of annoyance that I got was of the Hobos (the crew?) that had made a home up in my satellite. Had gotten help to remove their junk out of the place. Still need to go back and fix all the damages. Left them a little note though about their ejection from my property.

Also after some calming of time in the city there came up the Legion of Le Notre Dame, they game a unimpressive speel of their tyrannic views and looking for recruits to their cause. They had taken one random drifter with them. To where I am not sure.

Our "visitor" came in to town as well. I had gotten some talk with him , then I asked him something of information of technology. He then gave me information that I was, for a better term, "implanted" into my mind. I had then got the intelligence I needed to a weapon to ensure which side would prove to be right, in the end...Then I asked for a favor for when the battle was over, in case I survived...I just hope I will be able to live long enough to receive it.

A new member have join our group and so do ideals of the group. Grod is the mans name and he (for a better term) is a socialist.

He even put into work to making a Union Town apart from the regular facilities, not sure in the lightest where he is planning on taking it though. His talks of "safer conditions" and "equal pay" are all quite cute, but Science needs none of that. We all go for the light of progress and succession of them.

Building on our housing complex in Rethosio continues well, with the naming of living quarters and getting the place a bit more homely. One of our recent found scientists though requested that he have work started out for his laboratory. I instructed that he would lead out the design and construction while the rest would be part of making it a reality.

I am happy to say that it is ready for him to move in and work on his experiments within ample reach of his quarters.

Another thing that had happened was the meeting of Smoke, he seems to be a interesting person. Strange part was that he was the one caught being lost in the world as his first stumbling in our part of the wastes. He was very pleased at the sights of the city and of our contributions that my team has made.

Time has really flown by...The invades had made a good promise on their end with the invasion. They came in by Greyhope and that abandoned settlement is no more, as it has been removed from the map. I went to work with our scientists to prep our final connections with the orbiting Rayjak Laser ION Cannon. We still had time to take it down while it was traveling in orbit.

We had made the charge raise and then unleashed our attack on them. We had made our hit but had no effect on the hull since they had their shields up, but our blast was able to pierce and disable it. Which left them open when were able to recharge for our next attack. Those were some of the most suspenseful moments in the first phase of the invasion. Their Ship traveling from city to city destroying them.

We had stood ready from the city of Rethosia with our troops ready for the on coming attack, then they had come from the sky. We turned around and ran in for the attack. They invaders had mocks for our attempts. Then I got to see who were the cowards in the armed forces, there were people who talked of the battle and now they were leaving as if they were frightened children. Me and the Scientists stayed to hold out the invaders. I was armed with my laser rifle given by the rebel defect or the (...). Also had my HOV Suit on to keep me protected from their similar laser weapons.

I fought to the brink close to death, using front attacks and stealth attacks. Under


We had lost Screech in the middle of the battle and then I had a moment of sudden berserk that showed a maddening side that I was afraid of breaking free of me.

Went on a fishing trip with Cody, I was the victory wine in catching the most. Though he was fustrated so much that he tried differwent locations around the stream that he did not noticed they fuelbot behind him that wanted a hug. He was knocked out unconscious for a while and I had to watch over him while he recovered.

I have gotten the final message the other day from Kronaak that he has appointed me to the council in Rethosia. It has been wonderful to of course the city to allow Rayjak to continue it's pursuit in the way of Science.

Now with this position I can help extend the town for more greater good.

Horrible tidings have come to our city, on my return from an expedition I was hauled by Theodore into hiding into the town. He then informed me of what came to the town and what acts had been committed. The red alien being had return and he had a mission to go for Kronaak. Though Kronaak was also absent from the city it seemed, and yet the visitor was hell bent on meeting him that he stood at the front guard of his home on top of the fountain.

Theodore informed me that Creed went to challenge the beast, though he had failed in his attempt. Worse then he was beaten so badly and also as a permanent mark the alien had ripped the very legs off of Creed. He is in a comma state and we know not of when he will recover from it. Kronaak had then returned to the city and was met immediately by the visitor. They had their very own palaver of words and then the visitor left, Kronaak receded there on after.

The world is changing to unpredictable measures and our actions are amounting to a lot of effects for the future...

I am very weak at this time, but I must make this entry...

There was an attempt against my life, an assassination attempt. Was a clumsy one at that too, that included bazookas (and not the bubble gum).

While I was working in the Rayjak Apartment complex in my dorm. I felt the first impact on the building and right away I was stunned and questioned at what had just happened. Though that window was closed...HARD. As another shoot came and hit the building. I was hours later woken up and discovered by Theodore, I was badly injured though I had put on the needed aid and then donned my recover suit to help quicken the healing process.

Though the matter of the point is that there is an assailant out there looking for assault of Rethosia. Need to take things easy for a while for recovery, even though I know there is work to be done.

Been quite a while since I wrote up a report in, but I will try and explain what I know and seen.

On one of my expeditions I had gone on I had the delegation to have others of Rethosia follow by me. My quest was the final exploration of my map. We had to travel across the ocean to fill in the larger missing portion.

On our trek we found a open cavern and some had complained why were we in a cavern we were suppose to be exploring...we still explored it. In it we found lost treasures and then deeper in the bowls a very large open area. Cody was adept to have the thought of a city made in the very place. We mined the area up quite a bit for all the easy resources that we spotted. Of which it got quite out of hand when there was some bit of a scuffle between Cody and Lecic, which ended up with Lecic getting knocked out. I felt I should then go cause things needed to settle.

Got a message later on that Cody was heading back to make his spot in the cave. I bundled a few necessary supplies and made my trek again for the location. When I traveled there I found that Ames had also come.

I had go a trip with Kronaak, a political outing of sorts. He has returned in good and strong spirits. The settlement that we were heading to was(...). Made it to the town in a timely fashion, though our host was snoozing on his watch over his town. Though we woke him from his sleep and then proceeded to home. He let us in and within we had our meeting. Terms of agreement were spoken and things had mauled over quite well. Their and our side had reached an agreement that would put them under the Rethosian Empire.

Also I was able to run into Ermat Legan back in Black Fortress. We talked of similar. I expressed some note of my past and he had then done the same. We coordinated between us about the progress of the work of science. The heights and slopes that we argued on for a long time.

It has been finally been completed, the subway line between Rethosia and Slovgrad has been connected going under the ocean and making it come up inside the city. There needs to be a few more touch ups but it is currently fully operational.

Also there is more provisional progress with the University. Must keep the artifact protected for as long as I can.

Next I had met a fellow scientist called on by Roland Nai. He says that he is a genetic specialist. The kind of study that I try and keep away from at this point. Though he was also recommended to me from Kronaak. We talked for a while and his interest for his field of work and then into the subject matter of the invaders. I spoke about my knowledge of the invaders and I questioned him that if there was a possibility of effecting them if we were to inject them with a chemical agent that renders them vulnerable or even kill them.

Though he asked that he would need samples, fortunately I happen to have samples though I think I should have held my tongue before telling the stranger about them. He wanted them to work on a compound for it. I told him to give me time, he pressured me, I held my stance, he saw things my way. Told him I would require time. Though since recent events he will never get the samples. Why must men of science go back on their words and even rob the innocent, those who do even continue the cycle of depravity, and this world needs much less of that. Those who do are no friend of mine or of Rayjak's cause.
